The Speakeasy

Last Friday we played again at Oak Street Speakeasy in Eugene. As usual, it was an outstanding crowd and an overall excellent show for the band. Mac and the crew at the Speakeasy really know how to host a good show.

Thanks to Los Mex Pistols... and 56 Pontiac for a great show. As always, it was a pleasure to share a stage with you.

And a big THANK YOU to Mac and the gang.

P.S. We'll be playing at the Speakeasy again in the near future, so keep an eye open for us.

Getting Ready to Record and March Shows.

We're getting ready to go into the studio to lay down some new tracks. We're hoping to come out with 12-15 new songs. Many will be originals that test our new jump/blues sound. With the addition of Tenor Saxophone our sound has rounded out quite nicely.

We want to get everybody out to see us play. We have two shows coming up so far in March and we will be adding to that list.

March 6th: Oak Street Speakeasy in Eugene, Or.
10:00 PM

March 11th: Joe's Bar and Grill in Eugene, Or.
10:00 PM

Wednesday night at Joe's Bar and Grill in Eugene wasn't the most well-attended event we've ever played, but it wasn't the least.

The staging was decent with a good sound for not having mics on everything. It was also a great opportunity to play our new lineup of songs. we've thrown in some new covers like Los Lobos' "I Got Loaded", and a stock cover "Down, Boy, Down".

All in all it turned out to be a great practice for upcoming events, and we must say thanks to the very accommodating staff at Joe's. Food and drinks were fantastic.
